Clique Kits - October Pep Rally

Well it is time for another Pep Rally at Clique Kits. Good morning everyone! Yes I know that I have been MIA for awhile. These last few months have been a whirlwind but I will get into that in a different blog post.

I just had to join in with the Pep Rally this month now that I am able and had the time. They are so much fun and it's inspiring to see what everyone else has created with their kits!
You should have arrived here from Evi's fabulous blog.

October's kit was called "Funfetti" and yes it is totally fun!

Here is my layout using an adorable PinkFresh Studio paper as my base. It made it so quick and easy to create a layout.

I made feathers from the gorgeous Crate Paper Vellum and embellished with the wood veneer and some flair from my stash.

Isn't this alpha from PinkFresh amazing??

The gold confetti sequins are so perfect. Love them! I added some Pebbles felt clouds from my stash too.

Here is the whole line up for the hop. I know you will enjoy all the fabulous inspiration!

PageMaps sketch contest

I used the sketch at PageMaps to create another layout for my parents calendar gift.

I was inspired by all the stars on the sketch and used this star die cut piece as my background to feature a photo of my nephew Brandon.

I loved putting all those different patterned papers behind the cut out stars.

PP: Fancy Pants, Pebbles, MME
Photo Frame & Label Stickers: Fancy Pants
Gems & Stickers: Studio Calico
Mist: Heidi Swapp

@ The Mandarin

My parents always take us all out for supper in June to celebrate my birthday and my daughter's birthday and this year my sister and her husband were able to come also so I snapped this photo of them.

I make a calendar for my parents for Christmas and this layout will be in it. I have to be very careful of not adding too much bulk and dimension since they write all their appointments etc. in this calendar.

I played along with a sketch at Scraptastic but It looks like I'm too late to link up. Boo hoo. :(

PP: Webster's, Crate, Pebbles. O.A.
Stickers: Studio Calico, Simple Stories
Mist: Heidi Swapp
Ink: Memento
Doily: Recollection
Enamel Dots: MME
Punch: EK

We would love to see YOU play along with us using the sketch challenge.    You have until March 15th at midnight to link your layout/card/project up on the right hand side of the blog.

Here are the details you need to know to play along with us using the sketch challenge:
1.) We will have a new Sketch Challenge every two weeks. Play along for your chance to win a $10 coupon to the Paper Bakery Shop.
2.) Make a layout or project inspired by the sketch. Be creative and have fun! We would love to see what you create using a Paper Bakery kit; however, using a kit is not required for you to play along.
3.) Take a picture and link it up on the sidebar of the Paper Bakery blog using the INLINKZ widget by the due date.
4.) Winners will be randomly selected, and we will post them on the Paper Bakery Facebook page and on the Paper Bakery blog.

Here is my layout using the sketch. Everything that I used on my page came from Paper Bakery kits.
I am entering my layout in the Scrap Our Stash layering challenge.

More Love Potion

More of the Love Potion #9 Card Kit that is from Paper Bakery. You've already seen 2 cards that I made with this kit and here are 3 more.

This first card uses one of the free cut files "xoxo" that you get when you order the kit as a member. I love that floral paper from the Pebbles paper pad.
I added some of these resin hearts from the store and ended up with a sweet Valentine card.

Here is a little closeup of the cut file.

On this next card I used another one of the cut files....the heart....and made it the focal point.
Some enamel dots, flair from the kit and some heart sequins that I believe came in a previous kit and a bit of machine stitching and I had another Valentine Card.

This last card shows that you can use the kit for more than a lovey dovey card. I used some of the more masculine papers from the paper pad and some of the awesome Crate stickers and I now have a card ready for my Dad's birthday!

I highly recommend getting this kit before they are sold out!!

Subway Art with Paper Bakery

I was up on the Paper Bakery blog the other day with a card using the Love Potion #9 card kit. I used the rub ons in the kit to make subway art the focal point.
