Sparkle and Shine Challenge #9

Todays Sparkle and Shine Challenge is sponsored by Pretty Pink Posh! This time we have a photo to inspire you with. Here it is:

I was inspired by the colours and created a layout. Apparently my grandnephew Ryan wouldn't give me a decent smile a few years ago. I just got this cheesey grin...lol!

I was happy to use up some old Teresa Collins product on this layout. My sequins are from Pretty Pink Posh...of course!!! I used the Sparking Clear and the Sweetheart Mix.

Here are a couple of close-ups.

Cardstock: A.C.
Mist: Heidi Swapp
Thickers: A.C.
Brads, PP, stickers, die cuts: Teresa Collins
Dies: WPlus9
Sequins: PPP

I used a fabulous sketch from ScrapMuch?

I can't wait to see how this photo inspires you!

Got washi?

I know that we all have washi tape. Come on admit it!! Yes I have lots and forget to use it so the latest topping option at Seize the Birthday was a perfect reminder to play with it.

I made my rosette by adding red polka dot washi to a strip of white cardstock.

Cardstock: A.C., Wplus9
PP: Teresa Collins
Washi: Queen & Co.
Stamp: Wplus9
Die: MFT
Ink: Versafine
Punch: EK
Other: button, crochet twine, score board

I got the fabulous 6x6 Teresa Collins "Something Wonderful" paper pad from The Paper Trail.

So come on and pull out your stash of washi and play along with us at Seize The Birthday! Can't wait to see how you use your washi.

Oh I forgot to mention that I used the sketch at Mojo Monday!

Happy Thursday everyone! I'm off today for a scrap filled weekend in Michigan with 3 of my besties!

However before I go I want to let you know that there is a new challenge starting today at Seize the Birthday.

No toppings just an anything goes! But remember that it does have to be a birthday card.

My grandnephew celebrated his 7th birthday this past weekend so I made this card for him.

Cardstock: SU
PP, enamel dots, envelope, washi tape: Teresa Collins "He Said She Said"
Dies: WPlus9
Stamp: Fresh Squeezed Stamps
Ink: Versafine

I also used the sketch at our sister challenge blog Seize the Sketch to create my card.

Enjoy Today

I have another card to share with you using the March Daylight Savings Card Kit from Paper Bakery.

Cardstock: SU, A.C.
PP: MME "Just Splendid" (kit)
Tag & Stickers: Teresa Collins (kit)
Sequins: Paper Bakery
Stamp: Paper Bakery
Ink: Memento
Glitter tape: A.C.

I cut up one of the tags from the kit to use as the focal image and stamped the background of it with this cool stamp.

A splattering of sequins to embellish my card and it was done!

Speech Bubbles?

One of the papers from the March Card Kit from Paper Bakery called Daylight Savings had all these speech bubbles and it reminded me of texting on a cell phone so this is the card I created.

Everything is from the kit other than the cardstock form A.C. and SU
Stickers from kit: Teresa Collins "Daily Stories"
PP from kit: MME "Just Splendid"

The wood veneer speech bubbles co-ordinated with the paper soooooo perfectly!

I cut the cell phone out using my Cameo.
