I wanted to tell you a little more about this new site. I think I will just tell you in their own words.

"Better Living Through Scrapbooking is a brand new blog that offers scrapbook challenges and scrapbooking inspiration to the paper crafting community. Our goal is to encourage scrapbookers to embrace and scrapbook all their memories and life events, even if they didn’t turn out exactly as expected. We will provide weekly scrapbook challenges as well as examples and prompts from our design team. Weekly and monthly prizes will be offered as incentive to join in on the fun!"

Oh Canada Eh?
One year my niece dressed her little guys in red and white for Canada Day. So patriotic!

I made loops from the ribbon and formed them into flowers and added buttons to the centers.

My DD and my SIL just celebrated their 6th wedding anniversary so I felt the need to scrap a wedding photo.
The turquoise ribbon was a great hit of colour against the black and white.

I had fun making ribbon flowers and adding rhinestones to the centers.

My grandnephew's third birthday and Thomas The Train was the theme.
What cute little conductors!


For the border I punched holes with my crop-a-dile and threaded the ribbon through. I put brads in between each "loop" of ribbon. Then I added some pompom trim and machine stitching.

I can't believe that my daughter and son-in-law got married 6 years ago already!
They are such a cute couple. I wish them at least 66 more years of wedded bliss.

Fly

I had fun using the Chunky embossing powder on this layout. I used Versamark on all of the little circles in the scalloped border,sprinkled on the embossing powder and put my heat gun to work. Love the extra texture this gave to my page.

To put the glitter on my chipboard I actually added some of the glitter to my Diamond Glaze and painted it on. This also created added texture.

This time of year is when you get invited to Bridal showers and weddings and it always makes me think of my own daughters wedding so I had to pull out some photos and scrap them. It’s what we Moms do!

Mother's Day

Yes I know that Mother's Day is over. LOL! I just wanted to share with you the card that I made for my Mom. She loved it.



I so love that I can take any paper in my stash and find a P K Glitz glitter to co-ordinate and just give my project that extra "punch" that it needs!
