Stars and Stripes

It's time again for a new challenge at Seize the Birthday! Boy where does the time go? It seems to really fly by in the summer doesn't it?

We have a toppings option for you this time and it's to use stars and/or stripes.

A long time ago I was given this image and I finally got around to colouring it with my Copics. I think it is so adorable but I don't know what the image is called or what company it is from. Do you? If so would you let me know please?

Cardstock: SU, Neenah
PP: Fancy Pants
Punch: EK
Rhinestones: Recollections
Stamps: Paper Bakery and ?
Ink: Versafine, Memento
Dies: WPlus9
Other: Uniball Signo, Copics, Enamel Accents

As you can see I chose to use the Toppings option by adding stars.

Sure hope you will join us!

Faux or Real

Good morning everyone! It's time for another challenge at Seize the Birthday.

This week we have have an option of adding a topping which is to use stitching.....Faux or Real!

I love to use my sewing machine on my projects so I pulled out some gold thread to stitch around the top panel of my card.

Cardstock: SU, Bazzill, Neenah
Stamp: Cas-ual Friday
Other: Versamark, emb. powder,sequins, Gelatos

Water colour is a trend in paper crafting right now so on my scrap weekend I pulled out my Gelatos (which I had yet to do) and had my first try at water colouring! I like it and I know I will play some more with this technique.

I am entering my card in Virginia's View Challenge.

I hope I see your card over at Seize the Birthday. I wonder if you will use any stitching....faux or real!!
