My Scrappy Family

The November Showcase at myStampBOX was all about families. I took a bit of a different spin on it and created a layout about my "scrappy" family.

A couple of times a year I go on a scrap weekend to Memories Manor with a couple of friends and my family of scrappers keeps growing with new found friends. :)

I used the sketch challenge at Canadian Scrappers and paired it with the November kit from Scrapbook Star and of course used myStampBOX stamps and here is the layout that was born.

For the hop I created a layout about my grandnephews Ryan and Evan. You will find them featured in a lot of my pages. :)

I love how bringing together these 2 awesome manufacturers together allowed me to pull this layout together so easily.
You can click on any of the photos for a larger image.

Mini diamonds canvas shapes, mini clothespins, jute, Chalkstock: Canvas Corp
Stamps: myStampBOX (Colorful Companions, Passport to Adventure)
PP, Brads: MME ( from the awesome Scrap-Tastic kit)
Ink: Colorbox, Tim Holtz
Mist: Tattered Angels
Punch: Fiskars, EK Success
Misc: Coffee sleeve

I had the Canvas Corp mini diamond canvas shapes which I actually separated and then cut in half to make triangles so I could make one of my favourite "trends"....a banner! Stamping on them with a cute butterfly from myStamp BOX really pulls in the viewers eye.
I embellished each end of the banner with a bow tied with Canvas Corp jute.

Two of the other corners all have stamped images or sentiments from myStamp BOX.

I had fun making this cluster of elements for the bottom corner of my photo.
I LOVE the effect of stamping with white ink on the Chalkstock from Canvas Corp! I cut out a stamped canvas butterfly and also one stamped on patterned paper but gave it a body made out of a mini clothespin from Canvas Corp. How cute is that!!!

I definitely think that the partnership of Canvas Corp and myStamp BOX is a match made in Heaven.

Now it’s time to HOP along and find out what the next talented designer has created. Your next designer is Els and I know that she will inspire you for sure!
Don’t forget to leave a comment below for a chance to WIN one of our TWO product giveaways!"

Thanks for visiting!

Flower Girl

Have I told you how much I love the November kit from Scrapbook Star? I have been wanting to get my hands on some Glitz papers and Kiki came through big time!

This has to be my most favourite layout in a long time! Isn't my Amy just the cutest flowergirl ever? So hard to believe that this was back in 1984!!

I am entering my project in the Championing Award Medallions Challenge in the Moxie Fab World.
The Glitz bling was perfect for the middle of my rosette.

PP, trim, rhinestones, Peek a boos: Glitz

You are going to want to order this kit for sure!!!

Eat Cake

I'd like to share with you the first layout that I created with the November kit at Scrapbook Star.

It was fun sharing Amy's birthday cake with Evan and Ryan!

To help create my page I used sketch #180 at Creative Scrappers and I am entering it in the November Challenge at Harmonie to use circles.

Cardstock: Bazzill
PP: Glitz, Bo Bunny
Chipboard: Glitz
Rhinestones: Glitz
Nestabilities: Spellbinders

The burlap in the kit was lots of fun!

Celebrate

Today I had some time to play in my scraproom so I combined the colour challenge by Clearsnap,

and the sketch at Freshly Made,

and the Warm-Up #18 at Scrap-Fit

and came up with this card. I love scrapping on a Sunday afternoon. :)

Cardstock: A.C.
PP: Studio Calico
Ink: Colorbox, Tim Holtz
Stamp: myStampBOX, Hero Arts
Smooch: Clearsnap
Misc: Versamark, embossing powder, burlap

Congrats Cards

This week I actually needed 2 Congrats cards.

What I love about Urban Lily papers is how they make it so quick and easy to pull a project together.

From just one piece of patterned paper from the Blink collection I was able to make 2 cards.
All I did was just add some matching cardstock, a couple of brads, stickers for my sentiment and some Stickles and "bam" my cards were done.

Here they are:

PP: Urban Lily
Cardstock: A.C. & SU
Brads: Doodlebug
Stickers: Glitz
Misc: Stickles

Oh Boy

I just realized that I hadn't shared this layout of my nephew Brandon using the November kit from Scrap-Tastic.

PP: Prima, House of 3
Ink: Tim Holtz
Chipboard: P.P.
Twine: Jillibean
Mist: PK Glitz
Punch: Fiskars

I'd never played with with pre-embossed paper before and I really liked it!

Love that new border punch of mine and a little twine always looks good. Don't you think so?

This layout will go in the calendar for my parents so I tried to not make it too bulky.

In a Hurry?

You can still get a cute card done in a short period of time.

Stamps: myStampBOX (Colorful Companions, Mention it)
Pencils: Prismacolor
Ink: Memento
Cardstock: Bazzill
Pen: Sakura

For the step by step instructions on how to make it just head over to the myStampBOX blog right here.
