SRM is having a weekend challenge. Here are the details: You are challenged to create a scrapbook page, altered item, card (whatever you like!), using the color orange. And...be sure to use stickers! They don't have to SRM Stickers. Strut your stuff, get crafty.
If you haven't yet check out the blog right here.
Here is my entry for the challenge.

Twisted Sketch #034
The new sketch is up over at Twisted Sketches.
The twist this week is "Numbers".
Here is my layout based on this sketch.
I cut out the number 2 with my cricut and then took leftover number twos from my AC Thickers and used them to fill in the cut out number 2.
Come check out the other projects and also welcome my new Twisted Sisters.

I Can Share Now
It's time for me to share all my projects using the ScrapMuse January Kit "Parisian Nights". It's so beautiful I could have just kept making more and more projects.
Here are a couple of cards.
This was for my theme project.
Love these flowers.
The rock candy crackle turned out great on this tag.
Go and see if there are any kits left. You won't regret it!

Twisted Sketch #032
Have you checked out the new sketch? It's right here.
The twist is to use stamps, any how,any way.
I decided to use the sketch for a card instead of a layout for a change.
With Valentines coming up I know I will be able to use it to give to some one.

Beauty to the Touch
I'd like to share a layout that made using the January ScrapMuse kit "Parisian Nights".
One of my favourite items in the January Mega Muse kit is the luxurious, rich oh so soft to the touch ribbon and flowers.
They are created by Maya Road and are made of velvet! Oh yes I said velvet! I wish you could reach out and touch them and feel how gorgeous they are. It sure doesn't hurt that they are beautiful to look at too.
You can see them both used here on my Sisters layout.

ScrapMuse January contest - Embellish How?
I'm hosting the challenge this month so I hope you can play along. Check out the details below and at ScrapMuse.
My challenge for you this month is all about the embellishments. I would like you to make your own by cutting them out of patterned paper. It's a way to use what you already have at hand.
Another thing that I would like you to use to embellish your page is chipboard die cuts or chipboard stickers or if you don't have any of these then any kind of chipboard will do. The theme is totally up to you.
Here is my example:
The scalloped trim and photo corner and letters for the title are all chipboard stickers. All the little clouds and birds etc. are cut out of the pp and used for my embellishments.
A couple of reminders, layouts must be new and posted in the ScrapMuse Gallery under "January 2010 Contest". Please also link them to the challenge thread so we can all enjoy them. You will be playing for a prize pack valued at $25.00. The winning layout will also be featured on our blog. The design team will select the winning layout by voting for their favorite layout based on the layout itself and by following the challenge as described. The deadline for this contest is January 31 at midnight, EST time.
Have fun! Can't wait to see what you create.

Twisted Sketches #30
Happy New Year everyone! I hope you all had a marvelous Christmas.
Sketch #30 was such a fun one to work with. The twist was to use glitter. No problem for me! LOL! Check out the sketch right here.
Here is my take on it.
Here is a closeup. Pretty much everything on the layout glittered!
