I was looking through my gallery of layouts for pages using Sassafras Lass and realized that some of them are my most favourite layouts ever!

My last Twisted Sketch

I'm feeling a little sad today because I have decided to hang up my DT hat at Twisted Sketches.
Anam has been so great to work with and I hesitate to use that word because it has not been work at all! It's been lots of fun!
I'm sure that I will still be using the sketches because they are awesome!
Thanks Anam for everything. You Rock!! Good luck to the new design team.

Playing along at Sketchy Thursdays

Isn't She Sweet?

I was going through some old photos and found some of my daughter's 4th birthday party.
My goodness that was over 27 years ago! Boy does this bring back memories.

The January sketch over at Scrap A Little was perfect for my pictures. Thanks Helen!

I also used the challenge over at ScrapFit to complete my layout. It's Workout #35 Go check it out. It's a great challenge. I won't tell you what it is......you have to find out for yourself. HaHa!!!

Flamingo 5

I'd like to share my project that came out of the Flamingo 5. Each person was given 5 items from the Flamingo Scraps store and asked to create something with them.
The items are:
1 and 2. Two sheets pf Pink Paislee Mistletoe & Co. patterned paper
3. Garnet elines
4. Gunmetal stickles
5. Grab bag with blue primas, red primas, blue lace and a Maya Road Star stickpin

I had a 7 Gypsies tray in my stash begging to be altered so here is my project. I love how it turned out!

Amy's Room

Before the kids went back to school in September I made a point of going to see the room where my daughter Amy teaches a room full of Grade 5 students.
It was great to have a visual of where she spends her working day.

Here is the info from the LSS newsletter:
Creating with Jan - on Tuesday, November 23rd.
Day class - 10.30am to 12.30am
Evening class - 6pm-8pm
Jan always has exciting layouts with interesting techniques, see attached
Cost: $20.00 plus hst. includes materials
You should bring your basic tool kit, any stickles that you have, plus 1 4x6 horizontal photo, altho you could use a vertical photo if necessary.
