myStamp BOX Design Team call – take the leap with us!

ATTENTION all stampers and myStamp BOX fans!

We are looking for new Designers to join our team. If you are enthusiastic about our stamps, love to stamp, are a good team player, and know a thing or two about blogging, you are the right match for us! We are interested in designers with a variety of styles who can creatively showcase myStamp BOX designs in their layouts, cards, altered art, and other projects. No previous design team experience is necessary. International applicants are welcome to apply.

Our Term is 6 months from April 1st, 2012 to September 30th, 2012.

Team requirements:
* 4 projects per month
* 1 blog entry per month including good quality photos of a project and instructions/tutorial
* Upload all projects to the myStamp BOX website gallery and other online galleries
* Submit at least 2 projects per term for submission to print magazines of your choice
* Occasionally help with additional design opportunities – new stamp sets, classes, etc.
* make myStamp BOX the only stamping company you design for during this term!

Team benefits:

*bio and picture on the website, with links to your blog
*a starter kit of stamp sets and myStamp BOX products and additional stamp sets throughout your term
*other free scrapbooking supplies from product partners as they become available
*30% discount on purchased myStamp BOX items during your term

Stop the Presses!!

I am very happy and excited to announce that not only did I make it onto one Design Team this week.......I made it onto two!!! How awesome is that!

First off I will be designing for Tickle Trunk Memories. What is so awesome is that this site is Canadian. There aren't many monthly kit clubs that come from Canada so I am thrilled to be a part of the first DT. Check out the store and see all the wonderful products that are showing up every day.

Happy Valentines Day!

Since I don’t have any little ones at home any more I like to give my grandnephews a little something on Valentine’s Day.

I’m going to give them these little treat bags filled with candy hearts and to decorate the bags I made the treat bag toppers which will double as a card.

On both the toppers I used little heart from the Symbols stamps set to create my background.

Each topper has a robot (which I know the little boys will love) from the Programmed Robots set which I stamped, coloured with Copics, cut out and popped onto the topper.

For Evan’s treat bag I used the sentiment from Programmed Robots to stamp onto an extra heart.

For the sentiment on Ryan’s bag I used a stamp from the Straightforward set and stamped it on a banner.

I think they turned out adorable!!

Just Chilling

At myStampBOX all the DT had to create a project using Blue and/or Purple and this was perfect timing for Chris' challenge at Scrapbook Heaven to use lots of blue.

I made a layout of my youngest son and used a colour blocking technique.

Top 5!!!

I've made it into the top 5 at Practical Scrappers!! WooHoo!!

The competition is getting very tough and it won't be easy to make it into the top 3 but I'm hoping with your help once again that I might be able to achieve it. So if could follow this link and vote for me again I would really appreciate it. You guys are the best!!

I used a photo of my grand nephew Evan. How could you not love that face!!
I had lots of fun making those accordion rosettes from the patterned paper.

Round 4!!!

Well I made it into round 4 at Practical Scrappers!!! Top 11....Yay! Thanks everyone for your votes. I truly appreciate it!

I couldn't blog about it any earlier because we just got back from a trip to the Dominican. We had a wonderful time.

For this round the contestants were asked to make a layout with black and white and a pop of color and we had to use at least 2 photos.
For my page I took some pictures of my DD at her wedding with her 2 flowergirls. For my POP of colour I chose to use pink.....to make it "girly" of course. :)
