Thanks Card

I used one of my favourite Prima papers from the November Scrap-Tastic kit to make this card.

I was inspired by the Freshly Made sketch and the Tuesday Trigger. I loved the teal and gray and the lacey look.
I'm really happy with how this turned out. :)

Stamps: myStampBOX (mention it)
Cardstock: SU
Punch: EK
Ink: Memento, VersaColor
Nestabilities: Spellbinders
Brad: The Paper Studio
PP, flower, leaves, pearls: Prima

We Love You Santa

I'm giving you a little preview of the November Scrap-Tastic kit. :)
I used a sketch from Sketchabilities to create a page about Ryan and Evan meeting Santa last Christmas.

I used a stamp from myStampBOX to make the little Santa. I paper pieced him so I will enter my layout in a Lawnscaping challenge.

More Soccer

Since I made a layout of Ryan playing soccer it's only fair that I do one of his brother Evan too...right? LOL!! Well here it is!

Once again I used Echo Park from the ScrapBook Star store. I also used a sketch from Creative Scrappers.

PP & Stickers: Echo Park
Chipboard: Maya Road
Ink: Jenni Bowlin

I just realized that this page fits my challenge requirements over at ScrapBook Star! Who knew!!

Soccer

At Scrapbook Star my challenge this month is to create a visual triangle using the same element at all 3 points of the triangle.
In my layout I used a soccer ball.

This is a layout of my grandnephew Ryan playing soccer this year. So fun to watch him!

I used a sketch from Get Picky so I am entering my layout in their challenge.

I thought I would make a couple of Halloween cards to give to my grandnephews. I think they will love them....especially if I give them some candy too! LOL!

I used a sketch from Card Patterns to make them. Sketch #135 to be exact.

I also used the colour challenge at Clearsnap to help me pull my elements together. They were perfect for some Halloween projects.

Thanks for stopping by and have a great day!

Remembering

How adorable is my grandnephew Ryan? He actually turns 6 this weekend.

Canadian Scrapbooker now has a sketch challenge every month. I love that! Well of course I had to play along. :)
I was working with my October kit from Scrap-Tastic so that's what I used to create my page. Love those Prima papers.

PP: Prima
Ribbon: Prima
Flowers: Prima
Chipboard: Pink Paislee
Stamps: myStampBOX (Funky Flowers, Colorful Companions)
Twine: SU
Embossing Powder: SU

A requirement of the sketch challenge was to use a product by a Canadian manufacturer. No problem!! I pulled out my stamps from myStampBOX.
I used them to stamp and then emboss on my chipboard pieces. Here is my banner.

Here is the butterfly stamped on the heart.

Have a great day everyone!

Happy World Card Making Day!

Since it is almost Thanksgiving here in Canada I made a few cards to celebrate this holiday and I will send them to some family members.

For the background on this card I "smooshed" (that's a word right?) watercolour paper into distress inks that were misted with water on my craft mat.

Cardstock: S.U.
PP: B.G.
Stamps: myStampBOX (Straightforward)
Ink: Tim Holtz, Colorbox
Nestabilities: Spellbinder
Misc: Button, raffia, ribbon, aida cloth

On this card I stamped the sentiment multiple times with versamark and then embossed with white embossing powder. I then went over it all with green distress ink there by creating my background. This is called an "emboss resist" technique.

Cardstock: S.U.
PP: C.M.
Stamps: myStampBOX (Straightforward)
Ink: Tim Holtz
Ribbon: Doodlebug
Misc: Button, raffia, Versamark, Embossing powder

On this card I again stamped an image multiple times on watercolour paper with Versamark and embossed in white. This time I used the emboss resist technique with Distress Stain. I really want to get more of these!!

Cardstock: S.U.
PP: B.G.
Stamps: myStampBOX (Straightforward & All Year Round)
Ink: Tim Holtz, Colorbox
Ribbon: Doodlebug
Distress Stain: Tim Holtz
Misc: Button, raffia, aida cloth, Versamark, embossing powder, machine stitching

Make sure you leave a comment so you will be eligible for a little RAK from me.

Oh I bet you want to know what my secret word is.......it's........."making".

Now hop along to Karen's blog to be totally inspired and don't forget to figure out the sentence and email it in.

Happy World Card Making Day everyone! I hope you get some time to make some cards of your own.
